Why does your phone keep running out of power?

If you have noticed that your smartphone battery has stopped holding a charge and the percentage of charge is melting before your eyes, then the following information is for you:

  • You always charge your phone on the 100%
Our experience shows that the optimal charge level for battery life is between 30% and 80%. It is better to charge your phone several times during the day to maintain this balance.
  • You are letting your phone "die"
Every time your battery is extremely low, it's bad! You're reducing the potential of your battery.
You need to bring the battery to 0% once every two months. This is important for its calibration. But more often is not necessary!
  • You allow the battery to overheat
iPhone battery and other smartphones does not like extremely high temperatures. Try not to use your phone in the cold (below zero) and on the beach (temperatures above 35 degrees are bad).
Don't leave your smartphone on the windowsill in summer and don't forget it in the car in winter!
  • Have you fallen in love with your wireless charger and now use it every day?
    Wireless chargers overheat the battery!
  • You allow your smartphone to overheat while charging
If your phone is lying on a soft blanket while charging, the battery will probably overheat in the process. Keep it on a table or nightstand while charging - and away from other heat sources.
  • Your "backup" phone is always out of power
Many of us have phones that are used as backup phones. It's a big mistake to keep them constantly discharged. If you are not actively using the phone, keep its battery level above 50%.
  • You are using someone else's chargers
The problem is that most of us, if we buy an additional charging cable, buy the cheapest one. And non-original chargers often become the main destroyer of the battery!
